Movie wins because the conclusion of Carrie the novel isn't very good.

Its a strange choice but from the trailers I like his performance.  Maybe it was to generate profit in India?

Ironically DiCaprio and Hamm are only 2 years apart.

I should admit I haven't read this book in half a decade.  Though will more go on a rant about having a vision outside age restrictions haha.

I never root for anything to suck, I just have a personal dislike for Refn as a person.  Which usually doesn't matter for me but in this case eh.

I'm not sure if Irony is the right word.  But you could say its Brechtian.
