Honestly, I understand that course of action. She's realized he's the only person she trusts, and though she knows better, she wants to hold on to that, and before carting him off as another trauma to add to her nightmares forever, she wants to give him a chance. Still, she investigates as much as she can, knowing the

Don't hope with this show. Don't expect. Think: oh, this is pretty alright, we'll see what the future brings. Or else you'll get another "Hi, it's Dexter calling in a murder in my own voice when it can be linked to me with ease" and cry into your pillow due to expectations crushed by reality.

Do yourself a favor and don't watch those. They will make you angry and sad. Not because that's what the writers intended, but because it's just that bad. It's borderline so bad it's funny sometimes though…

Emotional blackmail.

Emotional blackmail.

It seems more that Jake thinks Matty and Jenna had a thing on the side all along, only he's been oblivious until Sadie's reveal, so seeing the two of them kissing is proof of that of their betrayal. At least that's how I read it.

For once there are real story plots that feel more real on Degrassi right now. They are treating issues like bipolar disorder and a transgendered identity as real struggles that don't just exist in the span of two episodes, but are part of total characterization. I'm really looking forward to Ryan finding out he's adopted.

I feel like this could actually work. You could roll it during the credits.

The whole lost child thing really is at the core of Theon. He's literally been displaced his whole life: being kidnapped and brought up by those who, by blood, should be considered 'enemy'. This is a show where so much about a person is completely dependent on their bloodline, and Theon is trying to follow his. He

Freddie Prince Junior's hanging out in that locker room too. Or he's dead. No one really knows.

@avclub-ae12f7aea3ee4c3dc4e6abf12f9f916e:disqus I am clearly inept at typing and meant to write feminists. No, but seriously most feminist academic literature argues that you must be homosexual to be a feminist. One article I've had to re-read in three university classes is "One is not born a women" by Monique Wittig

I had a long talk with my family about who we all are. I see that, though mine's a mix between Jay & Phil.

Agreed. The idea about believing in feminism & equating all that with a hate of men or masculine practices is an issue I have and part of the reason I refuse to self-identify that way (well, that, and half the foundation litterature assumes lesbians must be homosexual).

That plot is SO played out though. Has there been a single episode that hasn't played out Jay's emotional hang ups?

Just last week I was thinking that I was actually starting to really like this show. It began making me laugh more then sitcoms I've been following for years. Then this came around, remind me of my first impression of the show.
I honestly don't what what this episode what trying to accomplish, but I know it failed at
