I'd disagree with you there, but you are entitled to your take on things

Danke

Many thanks

New teaching gig in suburban Seattle. It's a mostly white district, with a solid number of East and South Asians. All our professional days are devoted to making us aware of our biases and helping us create more tolerant and open classrooms and schools.

I got into some pissing matches on the HBO Confederate article, then realized why? Those assholes weren't going to listen and they were all upvoting each other and had either private or Brietbarty comment histories, so I blocked them and walked away.

They won't be. Someone else will take their money and get paid. It always happens, because the free marketplace of ideas has not been impeded by the government

Why?

It's a private business and it can do what it wants. I'd wager other outlets will pop up to cater to this audience

No more than The President was…

The love story is the center of Top Gun. Maverick loves Goose, but is intrigued by Iceman

I'd prefer a gritty re-make of Jheri Curl

You miss the point secession was not the issue; white domination of black people was and that never ended in The South

And there are how many monuments in the US to Nazis?

Nope. The alternative is to cover the real history of black Americans resisting in The South and elsewhere. People like Booker T. Washington, Medger Evers, WEB DuBois, Bayard Rustin, and many more If you want to discuss black issues with fiction, how about Octavia Butler's Parables books getting an HBO series?

Nope. Everyone who supports a show that pretends that the sins of The Confederacy are fodder for alt-history, when they are part of current events, is a bigot

If Eichmann were a fucking moron

Equally bad. Sad

Been this way for 400 years and we managed to soldier on

That's it, Mike, I'm calling The Secret Service on you

Fuck off, you bigoted piece of shit
