On_2 is correct, but Pasha's partner's name was Jessi. She was good, and a lot of fans were really upset that she got eliminated without ever being voted into the bottom.
I agree with Emperor Jim that ROTS should have had way more politics in it. After kicking ass in Episode 1, and with the Senate crumbling around her, Amidala spends the entire movie barefoot and pregnant in her apartment. And what a waste of Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa.
It'll be 12 dances, not 16 - the competitors will be dancing with each other, so that's only 4 more routines. But I'm still excited - more dance is good.
Shankman has brought up the hungry jazz face before. First, in Season 3, when he choreographed the Hairspray group routine, they showed a behind the scenes, and he kept using it as instruction for the dancers. Then last season when Ashleigh danced the cha cha, he gave a whole series of them. I think Cat was trying…
I hope it's a final 4 where everyone dances with each other again - I always loved that element of the finale. An all male final 4 could make that interesting. I doubt we'll get to see any more same-sex ballroom, though.
what about Katee?
I read in a Trek Companion that Colm Meaney was the runner-up for the part of Riker. I can't quite picture him in that Angel One costume. Actually, I can. Must brain bleach now.
Allison has matured incredibly - she was pretty and youthful when she was on the show, but tonight I thought she was smokin' hot.
I agree with the prestige. Look at the way Kent was talking during his contemporary: Alex-freakin'-Wong and Billy Bell are already familiar names. Plus you sometimes get to do whacked out shit on the show. I don't know if they're going have a standard "final four" format like they used to… but if Alex and Billy make…
Alison - are you sure we're stuck with the new stage?? I would give almost anything to have the old stage back - the stairs, the levels, the intimacy…sigh. Distracting pixelated visuals instead of zombies or jewel thieves descending to Roisin Murphy. I think I'd even put up with half an episode of vapid house…
I agree about the padding in the editing… it seems like they have so much more good dancing that they could be showing. And I really enjoy the group routines. They're more tests of character, hard work, and creativity. People who give up or don't play well with others in the group routines never seem to make the…
Aragorn's mom would be cool, except he and Elrond already stole her one line for ROTK.
Well, it's a tough movie - there's a lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta complications.
I didn't realize what NIMH meant until 3rd year university - I remember spontaneously exclaiming about the rats from Mrs. Frisby in the middle of a clinical psych class.
