I hate that I wasn't able to get into the discussion about the National from a few weeks ago until today… didn't know that article existed and that everyone was saying "OOH I love their songs!" and making jokes about the song lyrics.

I love The National. Started getting into them around last year with the albums everyone knows (i.e., HV and Boxer), and now I'm really starting to listen to Sad Songs and Alligator (I haven't listened to the self-titled debut yet).
I wish this focused a bit more on the band, but it looks awesome nonetheless.
