Okay, I fucking grew up with Coldplay.
I was in preschool when Parachutes came out, and I remember (even then) loving "Trouble," "Yellow", and "Shiver."
Then, I remember hearing "Clocks" in a Nickelodeon commercial when Rush of Blood came out, and hearing "The Scientist" on the radio.

I was in preschool when this album came out, and I still remember asking the teacher what the song was. Thus, when other kids were listening to Dora and the Jonas Brothers, I was listening to early Coldplay.

I got one of her songs on a Starbucks "Have You Heard" compilation a few years ago, which had Bon Iver and Fleet Foxes as well. (yeah, I know, pretty much everyone this site's commenters hate.)

That's ridiculous.  "The Entertainer" or even "Scenes from an Italian Restauraunt" would be better choices—at the very least, those are far better songs than "Fire."
