Hi, I'm new here; I've only got about 6-8 months of watching The Simpsons under my belt. When did they lose their characters? Ive seen seasons 1,2,25,&26, so I don't have much to go on.

Keep in mind: South Park gets a head start on things due to their 6-day schedule. The Simpsons probably thought of it first AND started working on it first, but still was late to the punch.

The twitter feed is worth watching again for. Some of those names were genius!

I find it interesting that pretty much everyone say it was a great season, and then says that there was one homerun, but that one homerun differs between each person.
