Since the writers often take pains to show that Gloria is a little smarter and savvier than she comes across, I honestly thought the resolution of the psychic plot would have Alex confronting her with all the stuff the psychic got wrong and Gloria admitting she knows it's all fake, but goes anyway because it still

I'm not going to lie — if I got a text saying Michael Stipe was in the building, I'd be there as quickly as Ben.  Probably quicker.

Oh, I'm a Teddite, no doubt.  I was one of the two people who watched it while it was on.  (My wife was the other one.)

Between this and Cougar Town, I've pretty much resolved never to judge a show by its title again.

…unless they're playing the Phillies.  For some reason, the Phils inexplicably tank every time they play the 'stros.  It's maddening.

Right — that was the plot to The Seven-Per-Cent Solution, IIRC.  It turned out Moriarty really was just this ordinary math professor that a cocaine-addled Holmes had randomly decided was a criminal mastermind and was harassing.  Then they explained Holmes' "death"/absence in the books as Watson having taken him to

Yep, I thought the same thing.  They did that in the first story arc of Fables, with Snow White's sister Rose Red and her boyfriend Jack trying to save Rose from an unwanted marriage by faking her murder.  They just had her give a pint of blood once a week over the course of several months, and voila — convincing

A month?  Oh Claire, you amateur.

I used to love Babs, but I'm so sick of DC pushing her down our throats.  Solo title, team book, one guest spot a month, Ame-Comi title, Smallville comic guest spot, Young Justice, SBFF… it's too much.

Yeah, there's some precedent. Back in season 3 when he interviewed for the corporate job, he and David Wallace talked sports a little. And a couple of seasons back when he made fun of Pam for believing in ghosts, she flipped it around by making fun of him for never taking off his Eagles jersey during the playoffs.

You know, I read that second paragraph twice and (like the New 52) it still didn't make any sense. So — again, like the New 52 — I decided to just ignore it.

Sajanes: THANK YOU! I thought it was just me being a perv when I thought, "You know, the positioning in that scene sure makes it seem like-… but this is network TV, they wouldn't acknowledge that people-… would they?"

I'm not too proud to admit that when Liz was getting turned on in her office, there was a similar reaction on this end. Damn, Tina Fey has still got it.

Yeah, I should've clarified I meant COSTUMED debut. ;) Loved that cameo.

Absolutely yes on the need for a Stephanie Brown appearance (and I wouldn't say no to Arrowette making her debut either). Hopefully if there is a third season, the team can have another shake-up that makes room for Spoiler… or better yet, retires Barbara and gets Steph back as Batgirl.
