I love shortbus.

I love my wife
My wife, who is in many ways like Sheldon (she's a math genius) and a huge nerd, also immediately identified the college football team. You know when Sheldon says he knows everything because he's a physicist and Penny says "oh yeah, who's radiohead?" Well, my wife knows all about Radiohead too.

I feel bad that I don't comment on these
Because I don't have anything to say.

Easy
The Descent.

I like Britta
And the squirrel costume.

No fucking way
Troy was Richard Pryor.

My wife calls her "The Amazon"

I love this show
Wow, I love this show.

Shopping
As it happens, there's some pretty fucking crazy science of shop layout. There's a good essay about it, but I forget the author or the title.

Yeah, I always thought it was peculiar that the "porn" term got attached to this genre of horror, when boobies and sex have long been an essential feature of horror, only to be exorcised by the saw franchise, earning it the "porn" moniker. It's a funny old world.

Yeah, put this shit on scifi, for example.

The glauminator by contrast is, well, rigid and clunky, and

Good comparison.

Great producer and actor
Really shitty philosopher. Seriously, this is dreck.

"I think this line's mostly filler"

I like the show, but it doesn't lend itself to really interesting analysis. I enjoy reading the reviews and would miss them, but I wouldn't consider it a big loss.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing HIMYM would call back to and fill in.

Toby Young
That whole comment was incredible. He used the words "hairy armpit", "barnyard", and "funky" to describe her food as a full hearted compliment. I was honestly impressed he pulled it off.

Not entirely accurate
People's ability to work well with others has definitely been decisive on Top Chef. If the Chefs like someone, they'll all come over to help them plate when they're running out of time, they'll give them honest and useful feedback on their food, etc. It's far from the core of the game, but it
