I prefer Dollhouse to Firefly. Firefly is more fun, but Dollhouse is smarter, and the best characters and themes are already deeper.

Am I helping if I watch the Summer Glau episode twice?

All this somewhat undermined by the desktop Echo thing they advertise in the breaks, which is only about a quarter step classier than those desktop stripper apps.

Especially brilliant was the way wardrobeTopher sees his job as the real work of art, and Topher's as trivial. Something there about how much of our perception of other people's personalities is based purely on looks.

More than that, it had some great things to say to the viewer. We're fed the argument that women exercising their sexuality is a form of power, perhaps the core point of post-feminist "empowerment," but it's simultaneously subverted by the context - the professor making this argument is clearly just trying to make

America doesn't even have any village greens to preserve!

Also, Pink Floyd, Zepplin and The Who.

I love hip hop, especially from that era, and I find the Beastie Boys to be "meh".

My wife's response:

For me, two pseudo is about the same as a cup of coffee.

In general, I think the tension between Lightman as a father and Lightman as un-lie-able-to is the most interesting part of the show, long term. Last season his daughter and him had some excellent scenes.

Just noticed your covering this
I'm glad.
