Awesome, thanks for sharing.

I think they were right to linger with the camera on the gun shot - it communicated "yes, that really did just happen, no this is not a dream sequence, yes Derek is fully all the way dead now." I also liked the way it connected with the nanny's death - although the nanny is a disposable character to the audience and

So many things
But I'm going to have to go with

Wait… which of those is the high art and which the low?

Rockit
I just heard it for the first time.

Pam Grier
Foxy Brown.

She's fast becoming my favorite character on the show. Partly because, unlike Whedon's other strong female characters, she doesn't need an older man to watch her constantly to keep her safe.

I think you are right about Mellie's visits not being regular. I think they brought her in because they woke her up, and that requires some after-care (like maybe Adele's back-to-sleep-flower command isn't as thorough a wipe of the doll's memory as the magic chair). Didn't they mention something about that at the very

Good point. Maybe they're just perfecting it…

Agreed, Caroline came across as obnoxious. I sure don't want to hang out with the type of people who break into labs to save the animals. And I, y'know, eat a lot of tofu.

Open question
What happens after five years? Do they dump them on the streets with a permanent new personality? Is Paul's girlfriend a post-five-years doll? Is that just a lie that Adele tells them to get them to sign?

Enjoyable episode
I actually liked Topher in this episode, anyone else?

I like EC's skynet rival theory better. It seems if Weaver was coming back to stop skynet from turning evil, she's doing more harm creating it than teaching it. I forget if she seemed surprised by the reveal there was another AI or not.

I'm pretty much always more sad about people killing dogs. If you want to make me convinced that a bad guy in a movie is really fucking evil, have them kill a dog.

John Henry would have the information, since his body is a terminator. It makes sense that the other AI got from him. Henry is the brother.

I declare a national day off to get my national shit together from time to time. I find it crucial for my mental health.

Patton Oswald seems to forget
That the failure pile in the sadness bowl comes with cheese.

Someone should make a show staring Wes Studi, Edward James Olmos and Danny Trejo. It would be awesome.

I watched the Leno Obama interview on Hulu.

Worrying Trend?
It seems like people who watch TV shows because they care if they are good - are increasingly watching TV via DVR, Hulu, etc. That's making it harder and harder for high-quality shows to get the numbers they need. I am going to address this problem right now by watching Kings on Hulu.
