And some more on hell re: the Ancient Egyptians:
I thought the exact same thing - every time I think of that part, it hurts my fingers.
Welcome to Hell
If that's where we are…What an episode. I have to agree with Noel that Nestor Carbonell really knocked it out of the park tonight. His scene with Hurley and his wife brought a tear to my eye - a wonderfully acted episode by him.
Do people even read things before commenting?
Box on mustache
Good or bad?
I usually get stone off screen, it's more convenient.
Leave Steve Perry out of this
It was obviously Steve Augeri or Robert Fleischman spreading such horrible words.
We're talking about Blank Check, right? Right?
Cool…I wasn't sure if he had worked on a few, or if he just cut and run. I guess that would explain the similarities. I look forward to seeing where it's going, but from the promos it almost looks like it's going to turn action-tastic.
A wall of pennies
I feel like each episode has enough good material to get halfway through, and they just make sure good stuff is used as a bookend. The opening scene was cool (although anyone who rips the CGI on LOST should see FF), and had me thinking things could be turned around. Shortly after we got not one, but…
This did "use" the runway last year to land Ajira.
Someone set up a fund for the production fo the Yummsh/Cmdr Obvious pilot
Smokey as God
Jensen said something about this a few weeks ago, but the Smoke Monster is a pretty good representation of Old Testament God. He was a hard ass. Killing people, testing people, etc. People always picture God as an ominous force with great power.
I think he was trying to send Ben to his death. Ben's not a candidate (at least not that I know of), so I think it would just be easier for Smokey to get rid of him.
Thank you for removing that spoiler. Now if only I could unread it…
There's been a lot of talk as Christian as Smokey, but I've never been able to get on board with that. I think I say this every week, but Christian is a third party, I think he's somehow related to the Mysterious Kid from The Substitute.
To clarify, I meant Smoke as Locke, not Locke. Also, I think the whole Esau thing is just too down the line biblical, and I don't see them going that way. An astute poster last week pointed out Zurvanism though, which is a very interesting read.
After Roger's statement last week, I think it was established that Jughead either didn't exist in the Sideways time, or if it did it had a different effect. Ben and Roger left the Island willingly and without evacuation, so one may think time split sometime before Jughead. But now knowing Saywer's parents were killed…
What if all of Pierre Cheng's name's were created because of some sort of seperate realities? He did do a lot of work at The Orchid.
I'm probably wrong, but was the con man's wife the same woman also Zoe?
