I saw Foo Fighters at BFD @ Shoreline a few years ago and they were great. Evanescense had cancelled earlier because of "illness" and Grohl berated them the whole time, saying the guitarist had SARS.

Pathetic Review
This review is awful. I picked up this game on somewhat of a whim on release and I've enjoyed it quite a bit. The co-op is a lot of fun - between leveling up to different skills and the ridiculous amount of guns, it's fairly addicting.

That's a strong reaction to something terrible.

But wait…
What does Needick think about all this?

Whenever I was a child
I wondered, "What if my name was changed into something more productive, like Rosco?" I'd been born in 1891, sitting with my Aunt Roseline.

You guys need to re-read the Steely Dan chapter of "The Big Rewind" and get back to me.

Montreal all gets all the press baby.

Bitte Orca
I love how the first three tracks of the record have that avant-garde/art rock-y sound, then all of a sudden "Stillness is the Move" kicks in and I feel like I'm listening to a hip-hop/disco fusion. Then the 5th track sounds like 60s folk.

TZ
The Twighlight Zone is just one of those show you can turn on and watch at any time, and for the most part enjoy. You're able to watch a marathon and feel like you're watching multiple shows.

I had a Poetry of Rock Music class in college and a guy got up in front of the class for his presentation and preached the love of Jah and powers of the ganja.
Now, I love the ganja as much as anyone, but I felt about the same as concrete donkey.

Great costume(s)
One Halloween at the bar a group of people dressed as the entire Tennenbaum family from "Royal Tennenbaums." Halfway through the night the guy dressed as Richie went in the bathroom, shaved his head/beard, and came back out with bloody bandages around his arms.

Wait
You're a vampire and you didn't even tell your best friend?!?!?

He doesn't play "Wonderwall", "Free Fallin", or "What I Got".

Sonya Walger
As much as I love her as Penny, Sonya Walger is the low point of the show. I can't figure out if it's the writing, the directing, or her acting, but she just seems so amateur. As you mention, her scene with the disappearing-accented AA sponsor was the hole in an otherwise decent episode.

Great USFL facts
-The Michigan Panthers wons the league's first title - and in the process lost 6 million dollars.

Don't see the appeal
Yeah, it's funny, and it's metal, but this game is a typical hack and slasher. Only when you get in the multiplayer does the RTS stuff take hold. I say overrated.

I wish it were directed by Daunte Culpepper - that way he could get his roll on - on film that is.

MIKE LOWWWWRY

I agree - I think if Fringe were running on a network like NBC or CBS it would have been cancelled already. I think FOX is able to keep a show like Fringe (with not great viewer numbers going) because the expectation for the network as a whole aren't that high.

Awesome isn't the word I'd use.
