Good call on Cruise, wallflower. He's so hated at this point a lot of people just ignore whatever he does. I always bring up how great he is in Magnolia, but being it's 3+ hours, people are less inclined to watch the movie and just "take my word for it."

The movie version of Less Than Zero was terrible. I remember picking it up at Best Buy for $.99 and thinking I overpaid. The book is much better, if only for its references to other Ellis books.
