Right, but I don't think Widmore had any kind of authority on choosing Dan's name. Seemed he was out of the picture.

One more question that's been bothering me since last night - Why Farraday? Daniel's mother's name is Hawking, and his father's name is Widmore. Where did Farraday come from? It had to be chosen for some reason.

He's going to end up blowing up the bomb, I think, which is quite the purpose.

Unknowns
To big questions just from this season -

I think Jacob's cabin is kind of a nod to Mother Abigail's cabin in The Stand. It would appear in dreams to several of the main characters exactly as it stood. I think the cabin on the Island appears the same way, subconsiously. Also, remember Ben's line - "Jacob isn't a person you see, he's a person who summons you."

I've just started watching LOST in HD this season, and it's quite amazing. There have been a lot of things I've seen that I never would have noticed in standard definition. Plus, being filmed in HI, it's such a beautiful location.

I think the bomb is going to get detonated though.

Well, that's because Jin never left. He ended up with Sawyer and the rest.

The Jensen theory is ridiculous, because that would make Jack his own grandfather…didn't he also have Charlie Hume is Charles Widmore theory?

Hurley made (at least what he thought) was the wrong choice on the Island when he went with Locke, plus Hurley still thought he was crazy while on the Island, which means he never really got over that thought.
The thing about Sawyer is that he's still playing the same game he did off Island. I'm wondering if that has

Cheng mentions the Casimir effect in the Comic Con video, as well as Eistein Field Equations.

No, I don't think Richard is Jacob. I think Richard is important enough and has a good enough connection with Jacob though that he isn't questioned.

Those warnings are the worst. During He's Our You I had shit crawling at the bottom of the screen so I had no subtitles.

I don't think Desmond is the variable, considering he's already been defined, at least somewhat, as a constant. Daniel said "people" are variables, and motioned to Jack. I'm thinking that all the Losties who "aren't supposed" to be in 1977 are the variables at this point.

I don't think the US Army is done with the Island, and that may explain how Kelvin ended up there. That's really his only connection to the Island at this point, considering the Army's previous visits.

Jack didn't fuck anything up this time though. He decided to stay out the surgery to AVOID fucking things up. That's when Sawyer and Kate took Ben to the Others, starting this whole mess. That's when Sawyer punched Phil, etc etc.

If that was what happened though, think about it. There are two options A.) Jack and crew live out their days in Dharma times and are senior citizens when Second Jack and crew board O815. B.) Jack and crew go back to 2004 or 2007. There would now be multiple versions of every character that survived on the Island, so

Season 5
I'd also like to commend the ambition of the writers. They really took a chance by introducing their form of time travel, and it's turned out to be a really solid run. I know a lot of people were scratching their heads through the first few episodes, but it just turned out to be a great way to tell some of

That's it

You're campaigning pretty hard with this theory
