I totally support the fact that Frank Oz apparently takes Fozzie/Miss Piggy more seriously as characters than Yoda

Dude, good. I met Thurston a couple times, and he seems wicked nice. From all accounts, Kim is a huge bitch. Plus, I never fell for all that "it's totally okay that her voice sounds that way" thing.
First off, duh, the Sox in September. That shit was more horrifying to watch than anything the office can even concieve of (knock on wood).
That's the basis for every prank he's every pulled on Dwight. And now he shares the joke with Pam.
You could always watch every episode and bitch about it. That sounds like a sure path to joy.
Dear everyone: go watch Badlands with Sheen the elder, and think about how hard you'd hit that shit.
Look! someone cared enough to notice/comment!
Say what you will, but comedically, Schumer is like a lady Jeselnik. She goes dark all the time, cutting is her style (moreso than Whitney Cummings).
But for Leary's IRL ego, he would have become a training officer. It's the best balance between "real fireman" and "desk jockey/pussy". But I kind of get that while that's the best option, Tommy's not about to be driven into retirement by any one specific incident, but more likely by age.
How come it took Lou dying for them to be able to write a solid "boys shootin' the shit in the kitchen" scene again?
After all the bullshit about the dress, it's a shame that it was pretty damn ugly.
Anyone else want to slap themselves when they started the "I think we should be allowed to drink today"? …Christ, I can hear the Leary every time he writes a scene, and it makes me cringe.
Here's the thing though… it was crowd work, not Godfrey's act. From listening to Maron's show, and other comedians speak, it seems like the "comic's comic" attitude on crowd work is that you should be able to do it, but that you shouldn't do it. (Crowd work does well in most rooms; it's personal, it makes people feel…
Torrented the episode…. if that happens, I will puke and light something on fire simultaneously.
I'm having difficulty finding a clip… the only one on Letterman's site is a balls-less comment on how Denis likes twitter. Would love to know what he said, thought I understand you don't want to write it here.
No, you'd have to be funny too.'
Alien's teeth were truly distressing.
Seriously,
Well, THAT sounds like something that could have been solved with a sticker.
See, I like those scenes as well (mostly because Dad and Johnny show up), but to me they always make me think of a play, particularly how they lit the last one. The other thing is that as soon as he started looking at the vodka bottle this time, I actually said "OH COME ON, NOT AGAIN" aloud instead of in my head,…
As a lady, and someone who really loved Leary's standup before I turmed 17, I never found him attractive. But I've heard comments from other comics that lead me to believe he was generally considered a looker, at least by comedian standards. He is tall and decently built, at least.
