Yeah, the JoanCroft romance is forgettable, but it isn't really dragging the show down for me. I'm just glad Johnny Lee Miller is still getting all the best lines. "I'll let that slide" is the best line reading I've heard all week.

Which begs the question, was Deathlok a SHIELD project? If yes, then no one should have been surprised when Peterson showed up. If no, then Garrett covered up having a metal panel in his chest for 20 odd years.

All well and good Sava, but what about Man-Thing?

Agent DragonBallZ PlotRipOff!

If those flashbacks were supposed to make me feel any sympathy for Ward, they have failed miserably.

Forget Game of Thrones, freaking True Blood can and has topped that scene with Lola.

It's been 20 episodes. She is not a civilian anymore.

Bottom line, as long as SkyeWard is a thing, the audience is going to go anywhere else.

Yeah, I don't want to come off as condescending to the reviewer or comics in generally, but when you spend four freaking paragraphs ranting about how awesome a reference to a minor character virtually no one has ever heard of, you may need to reexamine your objectivity.

You know SHIELD. Bunch of bitchy little girls.

I found it weird that Hill tells Coulson that Stark would give him a job in a heartbeat and then ten seconds later they're saying they have to keep pretending Coulson is dead.

Also on the list of reasons why this episode doesn't deserve an A:

"Coulson and the team did try to reason with Talbot"

I was so looking forward to having Maria Hill bitch out Coulson for running away and wasting the time of all the different agencies trying to fight HYDRA. Yeah, that didn't happen. How the hell the does she think she can go back to working for Stark after she attacks Talbots soldiers and helps Coulson escape?

And it should be Maria Hill.

Oh. Well, cool, but how do you screw that up?

I will say this, the promo for next week seems to have Maria Hill calling Coulson out for running away from SHIELD and refusing to help the authorities, so at least someone in this show is thinking.

Pretty sure Bill Paxton is done for the season, since he was only supposed to be in four episodes.

Just this episode Coulson murdered a guy for the crime of stalking. This show is in no way dealing with these issues.

But the other three got the jump on him too.
