I'd say tonight was one of the better mysteries they've done lately. And it looks like next week we're getting 'the Adventure of the Cardboard box'!

When people talk about 'dream logic', we're not usually talking about the psychological horror. We're usually talking about things like Laurence Fishburn suspecting Abigail from the start and waiting until episode 12 to check out her travel records.

"The words “dream logic” can be a kind of epithet to some TV fans, often used to excuse stories where the events don’t make rational sense, because there are cool images or plot twists. What’s unique about Hannibal is that it actually becomes better the further it leaves logic behind."

To be honest, I never really got the love for this show last year. It reminds me of all the worst tendencies of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., with villains behaving in the stupidest way possible in order to keep the plot going.

Actually, it did do a crossover with Family Matters.

I don't even see how the woman in this show don't have agency. As soon as Marty's wife finds out he's cheating, she dumps his ass.

Yeah, legally you're not allowed to stalk anything because of the risk running into another hunter and having an accidental shooting. However, Rust does strike me as the type of guy who would do it anyway.

I think Hannibal is a lot like Homeland. The plots can get pretty ridiculous, and that can drag the show down if you care. Some of the serial killers had straight-up superpowers, and the cops are often incompetent when the plot demands it. But the characters, acting, and production values are as good if not better

Pretty sure he meant thinking season 1 of the Wire was the best of the five is the minority opinion.

Cough*Wheels and the Legman*Cough.

Have they even finished shooting the pilot yet? Give it time, three different HBO series are in there final season. No reason it shouldn't get picked up.

What, no love for last August when True Blood, Dexter, Ray Donovan, and Low Winter sun were all on the same night?

Sunday was just a very good day for HBO all around, wasn't it?

All well and good, but have you SEEN the Game of Thrones in production video?!

He also doesn't seem to be much of an 'action' writer. That can work when your main character is Morpheus, but not when he's Shadow.

[Cohle voice]They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. What does that say about you?[/Cohle voice]

And then there's the part where

You're no fun.

How about his dream sequences? Can I knock his dream sequences?

His race is kind of…fluid. I think he's closest to Native American, but the novel definitely said he wasn't just white or black.
