I've been putting an unhealthy amount of thought into this, and I've realized that shield reminds a lot of the league of extraordinary gentlemen comics.

I have no real desire to defend this show, but I always thought the lack of erections on tv was due less to networks not being willing to take risks and more to an outright ban by the fcc.

And some writers.

Yeah, I don't have any problem with marvel, I just grew on the dcau and am now making my way through sandman.

Mitt Romney!

I haven't watched live free or die hard, but this sentence depresses me.

I have no idea which character came first, so I'm just going to pretend that shield is preparing to rip off cyborg from teen titans.

I feel like a fan boy is the only reason I'm still watching too. But in my case I'm a fan of dc and I'm hate-watching.

That scene with vinnie Jones and the cake was good enough for me to give the whole show a pass.

Just for the record sava, it isn't nitpicking when there are this many problems.

Fuck you, the Kill- oh sorry, force of habit.

Wow. That was pretty great.

Ugh, I never know what to say for these reviews. Elementary has good acting and characters, but rarely does it have a mystery that you can really discuss in depth.

I thought that too, but they never really got into the details, so I guess it could work.

Arrow didn't get to ride the coattails of the third most successful
movie of all time to build an audience for it. If this show didn't have
the Avengers name on it, it wouldn't have gotten a back nine.

Well clearly you are severely in the minority.

Episode 8 of Arrow got an A grade, and it hasn't dropped below a C in it's entire run.

Funny, all the people in the TV review just said to start with the pilot.

I think DC's failure at movies is a little exagerrated. Isn't the Dark Knight still considered the greatest superhero movie ever, even after the Avengers?

It really says something about the quality of a show when even it's defenders can't remember when it's on.
