Since I don't know a better place to ask, does anyone here read the Heroes of Olympus series from Rick Riordan? I've gone through the first two books mostly on the goodwill from the first Percy Jackson series, but the sample of Mark of Athena I read was terrible. I wanted to ask if it gets better/ is worth anymore of

Was there more than one book in that series? Because I know I read the Wizard in High School, and I honestly couldn't tell you anything about it other than the ending. Just nothing memorable.

Sounds like something GRRM would do.

Doesn't DC have the better TV show in Arrow, and the most critically acclaimed movie in the TDK?

I don't know guys. Between Agents of SHIELD and Hemlock Grove, I don't have high expectations for this.

Wasn't the Bridge also pretty low rated and probably only just got a renewal, or am I thinking of the Americans?

I would argue that this episode being mediocre is a sign that the show is getting better.

Ward has to many muscles to be laboeuf. He's clearly agent k. Reeves.

Fury faked could one death to get the avengers to work together.

I'm fine with not having any superheroes, but the show needs some villains with superpowers, and ones that are better written than the travesty that was scorch.

I don't think killing Simmons off would have been a bold move, given she has been given absolutely nothing to do in the show so far. That's like saying the walking dead is bold.

Well, the dialogue was decent, the jokes actually landed, and they finally gave Simmons a purpose. It still wasn't fantastic, but certainly good enough to keep me watching.

Yeah, 'Next'. But he could only see two minutes ahead, the panzie.

I started Neil Gaiman's Sandman series last weekend and finally got some incite into the non-Keanu-Reeves Constantine. I'd love to see more of that, but an NBC show? No way they can pull that off.

While we're on the subject of super-genius stories, anyone here read Artemis Fowl? I was a bit disappointed by the last two books, but I'd have to say that they were my favorite series as a kid.

Eh, they both new the ending fight was to the death. Just because he reflected an Avada Kedavra back at him doesn't make it any less Harry's kill.

Well, let's be honest here for a second, if you have a prior demand that kids act like real kids, you've thrown out every child, young adult, and teenage fiction ever written.

I read this book recently on a recommendation from friends, and I thought it was pretty mediocre (though I guess that can be partially excused by the fact that Card was writing for kids 10 years younger than me) You know what I hated the most? The teachers at the school were as bad at their jobs as the cops on The

Andrew Rannalls was my favorite part about this show good to have him back.

Yeah, that's likely what they're thinking, but they don't even have a second season of any original content to use as an example yet.
