All of Rihanna's "dance" tracks are great. Umbrella, Pon De Replay, We Found Love…unfortunately, as with most pop artists, their softer ballads are awful.

I think you should check out that entire 'War' album. Every song packs as much of a punch as that opening track

My go-to answer for this is the Black Eyed Peas' "Meet Me Halfway". I don't even need to explain to this crowd why BEP are fucking terrible. But that is a really nice song. Fergie's vocals sound downright soulful and will.i.am keeps his usual idiocy to a bare minimum.

They definitely exist. But they aren't nearly as widespread as people think. I think people have this idea that you're walking around on the street and see: a Coca-Cola machine, a snack machine, and a machine full of used panties. They're usually tucked away in some back alley.
