It was supposedly finished last January but thanks to the label, it's been pushed back to 2012.
They took it from Poision's "Talk Dirty To Me".
I'll defend The Mars Volta's first two albums to the death, but they've grown far too indulgent and seem to have lost a sense of why they started the band in the first place. Hopefully a return to their roots will make for a great TMV record.
Now what do I do with this erection??
Is your uncle David Russell?
Well you were expecting a good book, weren't you? EXPECTATIONS SUBVERTED.
There's an episode of Masters of Horror called "The Screwfly Solution", in which men all over the world are suddenly compelled to kill off all women and at the end you find out it was a plot by aliens to eradicate the Earthlings. The whole episode is pretty hard to watch for me.
I really didn't have a problem with the fact that the cause of the plague was never named. Any definite explanation like "Cloning! or "A wizard did it" would have just fallen short of the reader's expectations.
Exactly. I don't know how you can call John Frusciante (who by the way has an amazing body of solo work that never gets mentioned on this website, so you should all check it out) inessential when the two albums that he's absent from both suck terribly.
One suicide scene involves a man lying down under a lawnmower. Trust me, you'll find something to laugh at.
"Pop Goes Punk" is already odd as a title, given that the exact opposite trend has come true.
"A long-sleeved…T-shirt"
I was dragged to see this by the family today and agree completely with this review. It was saccharine and manipulative. The young girl was nothing but a MPDG and I know that teen boys can be mopey and histrionic but they also have personalities.
This is what every single musical looks like to me.
Go get U2's "War". They never made a better album afterwards.
Did you have to change your pants afterwards?
Proof of their awesomeness

If I'm laughing at what I think I am, it's very funny.
I recently got into Mclusky through Japandroids, although all I have so far is "Mclusky Do Dallas". I also came across a fanastic Japanese band called Molice that I think a lot of people on this site would like. Their sound is sort of a mix of The Police and 60's groups like The Doors (hence the name)
