I'll check this out. It doesn't seem like a complete deconstruction of slasher films, but there are enough weird touches (like the creature rising at the touch of a bottom) to make me interested. I do think they could have held off a bit on the spoilers though.

I don't know too many songs related to this subject, but one of my first thoughts was about City and Colour's "Coming Home".  It's a great song about traveling to all four corners of the earth and feeling world weary
