I dunno it's pretty impressive. I hate Friends but I've probably seen almost every episode of it.

I love it but it is very much of its time. The show doesn't work any more, not least because half of the stories would be made redundant by widespread mobile phones etc etc (though this would probably open up all sorts of different avenues for plots, as evidenced by the - now defunct? - Modern Seinfeld twitter…

no I ploughed through all of it and it is amazing the amount of people that really think it is something magnificent. It looks good, actually it looks great, but the plots are just schlocky and lame, plus Spacey doing his hammy cornpone accent is laughably bad.

The guy is a world class dick but as someone with a titanium ankle I do feel some sympathy for him. Well, not really.

just watched this tonight and have to agree…it wasn't a magnificent film - a little uneven and slightly long - but the criticisms here are way off base
