The death scene song is one of my top five favorite moments from the whole series. I've gone so far as to rip that version of the song from the YouTube clip there and have it on my MP3 player.

The Steve Martin episode is my favorite episode ever. He throws himself into it so completely and it just works.

Part of my agreement to take the part was that I didn't have to be shirtless.

I played Jesus in our church's Passion Play, and I always hoped someone would say this exact thing about me.

I honestly would like to see that.

Point taken,
TroutMaskReplicant.

I like hundreds of people, but since I don't like those three I'm not fun.

I, on the other hand, do hold ill will toward David Koechner. I've never enjoyed him in anything I've seen him in. If he, Rob Schneider, and Danny McBride ever made a show or movie together, I would hate it so much that nothing could withstand the heat that would emanate from my pure white-hot hatred. It would melt

Every other review: "I wish we had more backstory."

You'd think there'd be some mention of a Kids in the Hall alum as the Denim Vest Guy, but noooooooooooo.

I just watched 50/50 this weekend, so I applied that to tonight's show (even though I knew they wouldn't do it) and thought, yeah, they could manage it.

That's the best line I've seen on this site in maybe two weeks. Absolutely loved it.

So noted!

I generally like to start from the beginning on shows, even when it doesn't matter a lick, like Twilight Zone or its ilk.

I've missed Cougar Town so far and feel like jumping in now would be… weird. I'll eventually catch it on DVD or streaming, I'm sure.

I never took that to mean he knew her name. It always felt to me like he was just using a name because that's what she looked like to him.

The Jerk Store called, and they're running out of Disqus!

Don't get me wrong - Jeffrey Tambor is amazing as Hank, for sure!  I can recognize the greatness of the character without liking the character, though.

I spent the whole series conflicted about Hank. At his core he seems like a massive no-talent jerk. I mean, take him off the talk show and what does it lose?  Not a dang thing.

Sure, 30 Rock has changed over the years, but I haven't met an episode I outright disliked ever. Loved this one.
