i think starting right from season 1, episode 1 is the best place to begin watching community. especially if you're dealing with less "savvy" tv watchers. it is the most accessible episode of community.

i haven't seen men of a certian age, but i have watched treme. i think the show/simon is genius. yes, it moves very slowly. but it works it's way into your heart and soul without you even realizing it. when something does happen on treme, it moves you in a way most shows just can't even come close to.
