why not start with The Office? i don't get it
why not start with The Office? i don't get it
i believe the korean joke was intended to be "meta." Ken Jeong is Korean. I think I've heard him say in interviews he has played just aboiut every other asian ethnicity except Korean.
also i'm of sicilian descent, so i've seen some of these attitudes in action, which adds to my fascination
anti-feminist
well that's just stupid. certainly all of the male charcters on the show are anti-feminist, as are all of the female charcters (majority at least). i believe at one point carmela says something along the lines of "i'm no feminist, and i'm not asking for things to be 50/50…"(i forget the rest, but i think…
not much to add here. this is such a great scene. sent shivers up and down my spine. i clearly remember the first time i saw it. who knew patsy had it in him?
well if no one has heard from the gerbil and you start to smell something a little off it may mean it's crawled into one of the air vents and died. poor gerbil. probably just couldn't find his way out of there.
No no no no no no NO! someone needs to stop giving this douchebags nice things!
original vs this
i have watched the original series, but not the American version so far. i'm guessing it's on Space here in Canada, perhaps i will check it out. jacob kinda makes me want to watch it
BUBBLES!
ya i know that no one is gonna read this, but Andre Royo is gonna be on Fringe again. good times!
also, what do we know about the First People? were they the originators of the peter machine? i've seen every episode of fringe but i feel like i'm missing/forgetting something here. but maybe that's because we haven't actually gotten that much info about the first people yet.
i missed the Jacoby line as well. someone said there have been other twin peaks references?? just curious what were they?
agreed uncommented. they don't need to make him a murderer but something profoundly weird would be good. especially if this reveal comes after jeff has spent time with him and feels like he's learned from him. sorta like joshua being a racist??
YAY!
fringe is back!! :)
oh shit….i'm sorry, i thought you were talking about the KENTUCKY fried chicken epsiode! lol. i guess that would be better known as the apollo 13 episode. my bad.
really? i don't think it was just dumb. i think it was partially just dumb, but i also think jeff kinda wants to be better too.
were you being sarcastic about the fried chicken one? because that is one of the weakest episodes community has ever done. this episode was much better. but hey, to each their own!
people seem to like the flashing bit. i'm not sure how i feel about it though. we saw Britta in the eyes wide shut room in fort city, and i like the idea of her being all kinds of freaky. but i'm not sure if i like the idea of her actually selling her body for tickets or rent money. her delivery of mezzanine totally…
i also liked how abed pointed at rich in the corner of the screen after jeff says "ted bundy, jeffery dahmer, rich…" and how shirley turns to andre and says "he's horrible" after jeff says no one can be worse than Chang.
the attention to character detail is excellent. i liked the MJW reaction to jeff's big let's let chang in the group speech. he's the only one who had never heard a jeff rant, and he was rightfully wowed by it.
a lot of hate for chang on here….a lot of love too i guess. and a lot of talk that he's best used in small doses. pretty sure the people who make the show know this and that's why we only get him in small doses. come on, he can be hilarious! his reactions to jeff's big talk, and hiding on the bookshelf? super funny!!
