Dogstyle Afternoon

I was one of those boys with the Christmas list.  "Girls on Film" was a revelation to my 14-year old self.  The part where two nubile females in negligee sit on opposite sites of a red and white pole that was covered in white cream, and slowly pull themselves closer and closer, blew my freaking mind.  I feel as though

So true, @avclub-33235e3d066bad95b6eea457826f7507:disqus.  I have friends of 20+years who are huge sci-fi enthusiasts, and they simply will not watch an episode of this terrific show because "It's the show with a bunch of muppets."  Drives me crazy.

Holy fucking shit, I had forgotten about "Salvage 1" until you mentioned it, MJF.  I remember liking it when I was 7.

I recall an interview with Erin Gray during the Buck Rogers era where she was asked what she does to stay in shape.

Seconded.  This was simply awesome.  —And yes, I'm 43; why do you ask?

Totally agree, worker201.  The show was pretty ok.  Much funnier than anything Chelsie Handler has on.

I call dibs on Frakes!

That sound you hear is hundreds of people googling 'Eva Vica Kerekes' all at once.

So… no mention whatsoever of Castle?  Not even to simply remind people it exists?

Was it a better show when there was no serialization, and each new story basically started off with the same characters without any growth or development whatsoever?  Did you actually like it *more* when the Doctor seemingly didn't give a shit about Adric's death?

It doesn't require as much suspension of disbelief if she's the same character from Asylum of the Daleks.  I'm sure Oswin heard the name "Pond" in that ep.

Christmas Carol relied on timey-wimey nonsense, but it worked.  I don't think Moffat will be able to top it, ever.  It's in my top 5 episodes ever, going back to Pertwee (when I started watching).

Aha! Good idea, drdarke. That show is definitely worth revisiting.

I too am surprised that the reviewer had problems with everyone siding with Dexter.  Why wouldn't they side with him?  Not only is LaGuerta generally considered a scheming bitch, Dexter is considered a "lab nerd."  This generally friendly, nerdy guy is the BHB?  When all the evidence that the officers know about

It was filmed on location, in space!
