I'm an attorney and never had a problem with L&O.  But the most accurate law show I've encountered was the first season of The Practice—especially the first 6 episodes or so.  I was just starting out at the time, and had to stop watching because it made me feel like I was back at work.

Gah, is that "two more films" after Skyfall, or "two more films" including Skyfall?  Because it's not out yet.  And stuff.

I couldn't believe the episode last week, where the hoarder-wife made up a twin sister to explain why she had to keep all 100 of her purses.  "I'm hanging on to these for my twin sister…" then her husband came in and pointed out she didn't have one.  Insane, man.

Actually, watching Rocket is sort of creepy, since he's the only person I've ever heard of who committed suicide by slitting his own throat with a knife.   Eeesh.  I'll always remember him as Bruce Willis's older brother on Moonlighting.

You have a point there, although I think that type of giddy fun is evident in Closing Time.  I'm sure they viewed Curse of the Black Spot as a "fun" episode, but meh.

This may just be my reaction, but when you start an episode with killing The Doctor, having a funeral and burning his body, there's no way to make that episode joyful.  You could have the younger version emerge from the diner bathroom and sing and dance and fart multicolored hearts out of his ass and it still wouldn't

I'm not very good at translating 12-year-old, but I'll give it a shot.  I believe the young person is saying "It would be rather disgusting if it turned out that the Doctor and River gave birth to Romana and Sarah Jane Smith, because it's practically canon that the Fourth Doctor slept with Romana, and many fans like

"Their homeworld is suddenly there again? I thought it and Gallifrey were sealed in some time bubble bullshit?"

Right, I actually like this development; it's going back to the Old Who situation where nobody knows who the hell this guy is.

I didn't have much of a problem with hearing her real voice as I did hearing the music.  The music was imaginary.
