If the Tesselator can simulate any life form, why would it be hard for it to simulate yellow glowy-ness coming out of someone's hands and face?  Is further machinations really required?  Gah, sorry about the pun.

How in the hell is it I've never heard of this?  Talk about underpromoting a film!

I already lost my balls with my previous post, so I face no repercussions for saying I cried my everloving eyes out at the end of Moulin Rouge.  Great movie.  And, for the record, I am a Confident Heterosexual.

Hey, it's not wrong; it's a perfectly natural thing.  Unless you do it in public.

And now I'm imagining Olyphant all disappointed with himself afterwords for giving in to such a wanton impulse.  Especially having just discovered he barely knows who Mortensen truly is.

Boy howdy.

I agree; the reference to Sirtis being responsible for "Sub Rosa" back from 'our' Sirtis's post on "Face of the Enemy" was awesome.  And I'll have scotch on the rocks!

Me too, Brett; A Knight's Tale was great.

This was a great AVQ&A.  So many good responses.  Claire, nobody should consider The Sure Thing a 'guilty pleasure,' it's straight up a good movie from beginning to end.  I love the way it's bookended by the writing class the main characters share.  And so many funny yet believable lines!  "Wait… I have credit cards!"

Holy hell, yeah!  I remember catching that on TV around 1980 or so.  Thought it was awesome.  Probably because I was 10.

Agreed.

…INTO A MOLTEN VOLCANO!!!!

Brisco County Jr. would rock, but… but…

Wait, it doesn't make any sense at all to go see an older film in theaters?  So I'm a nonsensical idiot for going to see "Casablanca" at a theater a while back?

"Blasphemous Rumours" is especially good IMO.  And in High School I would occasionally gauge dateworthiness by whether the subject knew any of the words to "Master and Servant."  It's probably amazing I got any dates at all, now that I think about it.

tragically ludic - I was hoping someone would further explain this.  I'd only heard of "Yaz," not "Yazoo."  And they were indeed awesome.

Agreed.

Awesome.

PACKERS WON THE SUPER BOWWWWWL….

Hey, it's Elegant Victorian Lady!
