It's not stand-up per se but Kevin Smith's story about meeting Prince is amazingly insane and his Superman story isn't bad either. But I don't know how the Prince once cannot be here. Chaka mad. http://www.youtube.com/watc…

I don't see anyone else pointing it out so I will:
Giancarlo Esposito was rather prominently featured in the film. Do the Right Thing.
Discuss.
Yeah, she does look a bit "younger" but that's mostly because she's not in weird post-apocalyptic gear, being seen through a weird lens. She's certainly not 30 YEARS younger, which she'd have to be, to be her present self.
Actually that's kind of the opposite of what the ending is. You may have missed the point there.

Sadly, she didn't, actually. she didn't clue in until Bane called him, "Mr. Wayne." that's when she started feeling a bit bad about screwing him and all.

It's exactly like in Rocky III when Clubber is all taunting Rocky and Micky/Alfred is all, "This dude is a killer! You're past your prime!" And Rocky does it anyway, because dude insulted his wife…and then he loses. The only thing missing is Alfred's surprise Jewish funeral, really.

I agree with Graphite, totally.
There was a major terrorist attack on the exchange and the next day it seems Bruce Wayne somehow amidst that, managed to bankrupt himself? Do we really need to drag in the SEC and take a few months to prove fraud? Isn't it perfectly obviously the result of Bane's actions or do they just…

I think the only thing that bugged me was no one connecting the Wayne-Batman dots at the end of the day. I mean, if Bruce is gonna go all recluse, is it really smart to do that at the EXACT same time Batman goes missing?

This seems like a natural place for me to point out my name is Johnny Fever's first nom du guerre, unless I've misremembered it for years.

Is that the one with, "Bronco Nagurski called; he wants his shoulders back."?

Oh, wow. Thanks for that YouTube link. I'd never seen a second of Zero Hour and now have a whole new appreciation of the genius that is Airplane. Is it safe to say Zero Hour wasn't big enough most people would have even got that at the time?

I'm not sure there's actually anything Canadian about Canada Dry but things got pretty crazy back in the 80s, obviously.
