I was really psyched to do this because I just re-watched F&G after looking at that VF retrospective and it really bowled me over how tenderly they write the Weirs as a whole family (the scene especially where Sam's parents hold him close while they suspect Lindsay goes off to lose her virginity really got me.) I also

exactly—I watched the show and remember her being put-upon but when I read back over the character's synopsis in full it was like damn, can't this woman get a break?

Totally. I almost said it was a bj joke until I looked back over my notes and said it was the award for best kiss. But I get it. Penis.

I also ate a cheeseburger.

This was one of the approximately 2000 movies I watched in the hospital when I was having the baby. I kind of liked it at the time —we re-rented it to see if it wasn't just the wonderful, wonderful drugs I was on. It's not a perfect movie but I thought it had its moments. The drugs, though: perfect.

@avclub-9349e20458f64c9bfb83b5221e145937:disqus There was a few years ago at my instigation. This is a topic dear to my heart.

I also think LMFAO is ridiculous but their Pandora station is one of my standbys when I work out at home.

@avclub-2b1488ea4f41f775d267fd910480d14a:disqus I have an exercise playlist on my iPod and go to one dance class partially because it keeps me up to date on what the kids are listening to.

If it's got a good beat or better yet, can make you pretend that the inside of your head is at a party/in a music video while the outside of your body is in hell.

See I have no shame when it comes to H&O. I had an enlightening moment with them when a black friend of mine said "White people like Hall and Oates?!" and I said "Black people like Hall and Oates?!"

The Black Eyed Peas are embarrassing but this song is a standby on my workout mix (where there is no shame.)

We just got the DVDs via Netflix, the old timey mail way.

I just assumed that it was ironic when Marnie praised him for that TV installation, that she didn't know any better that his work was derivative and cliche.

We finished up Season 1 of Justified. The casting of Olyphant is so perfect on that show—my husband and I both really enjoy him for mostly the same reasons but not all. We also watched "Looper" which my husband, who is kind of a softie, almost wanted to turn off but we stuck it through and really enjoyed it. We

There was a comment on there about how all country singers should kill themselves, which was less offensive to me than the replies to it saying that people need to stop being butthurt and so sensitive about everything. You know, a 6 year old and an infant's mother removed herself from the planet. I'm probably more

The "Countdown" video is pretty awesome although I realize a big theme in Beyonce's visual repertoire are lots and lots of Beyonces.

Do you think Beyonce is a gay icon? I'm sure she has a gay fanbase but I never thought of her as being a big gay standby (but what do I know.)

En Vogue was perfection. "Funky Divas" was one of the first tapes I ever bought.

I don't think it's been released yet.

She's not even interesting. She's sort of the Diana Ross to Rihanna's Ronnie Spector (only in this case the '60's versions had a lot more going on for them than today's.)
