Totally with you re: the meanness AND the Dwight bit. I can never really get down with an episode where Dwight has completely lost his nut and gone completely unbelievable. It just goes against everything that I originally liked about the series. And same with Andy—I mean, some bitchy undermining and rudeness is one

Aimee Mann and Michael Penn are one of those few famous couples I'd actually feel sad about if they broke up.

Thank you! Sometimes I sit down and find myself physically unable to get up again so why not go on the AVC boards while I'm at it?

He seemed more like a guy who does "Family Guy" impressions than the guy who actually does the voices. This was just more in his performance style I suppose than what he actually does. Sorry for not making any sense. I have a baby at home now sucking all my brain juice away.

To me it's a little like William Hung all over again.

did you read the NYer profile on him? I really don't want to be a knee-jerk disliker of him but that did not help. Also, I can't believe he squanders all these opportunities to impersonate Donny Osmond.

I loved that Amish sketch—good for Tim. MacFarlane's not quite the vocal impresario he seems to think he is (or that the show painted him to be), though. He almost struck me more as a guy you know who does "Family Guy" impressions than an actual professional voiceover actor. I wonder what actual new ideas were floated

We saw "Bernie" and adored it. So great; Linklater rarely lets me down and he brings good stuff out of Jack Black. We also watched "Mirror Mirror" which was a lot puffier and sillier but was harmless and looked gorgeous.

@avclub-852592f4c36e6055df929d9b31a8290e:disqus gah, totally. I was pulling for him after he pulled himself together but I'm glad his kids got over it. I wish they had been able to track down his father (still living? Not sure) so the nation could shame him.
