Good call—I wonder if that's partially what that's about.

That was SO good. My husband and I got addicted to it. (I ended up interviewing Claudio the cameraman for my blog.)
good call re: LSFYL. I also think Milan maybe relied a little too much on DRAMA than actual fun lipsynching. Plus, after the whole Janelle Monae debacle, I wonder if it was wise of her to rip off all semblances of femininity during her performance.
Okay good, I'm not crazy. I tuned in last night for Research and thought, "That curly haired girl better beat that little 17 year old" and then I was mad when it didn't happen.
I think it was time for Milan to go but I do hope Jiggly goes soon too. Her hairline/teeth give me nightmares.

I watched/listened to the Bulls, caught up on some TV, was nonplussed by Lohan on SNL, started "Hugo" (I realize now why they Oscars so indulged in that "Why the movies are so special!" motif but that doesn't make it less obnoxious.)
It was an odd episode because there were some fun sketches (or sketches that I at least wanted to give credit for being good ideas, like Disney Housewives) but Lohan was basically a cypher aside from her weird face. I wonder if, had she been more of a presence in the show, her plastic surgery/bloat would have been as…
Sorry Terry: I will try harder in the future.
This has been something I've been thinking for awhile. Comedian self-examination overload feeds into stereotypes, I think, of comedians being insecure or self-centered, either fairly or unfairly. (then again, who isn't self-centered or insecure?)
@RegularGonzalez:disqus nailed it.
No, I agree, Jim's kind of a secret asshole. I think I have known guys who are like that, who aren't as nice as they think they are, so maybe that's why he bugs me sometimes.
"Saved" bracelet? Ooh boy, I didn't know that was a thing.
It's a good listen. I think Al kind of kills Marc with kindness. Al's a happy guy but he's not a bullshitter either, which is what I think Maron ultimately respects.
I agree; his intro, where he discussed being happier for his friends I thought reflected an attitude partially inspired by Al.
Might as well go for the threesome with him and Phil Phillips. Scoobity doop bop.
He hates medical marijuana but he's OK with medical heroin.
This interview is such an entertaining read. The fact that we cheer for the same teams helps.
Who is Paul McCartney?
This is great. I wish she would have talked a little more about playing "Chief" in Children's Hospital, like the various places they pulled that character from (I'm assuming Carrie from ER played a big part of it) and the physical humor and prettying-down that comes with that role. It's refreshing seeing Mullally's…
