That's a good question. I never put much thought into him before I read "The Chris Farley Show." I had no idea how tortured he was. I'm not sure, based on the little that I know, he would have been able to outrun his demons.

That movie was unexpectedly good/interesting. It showed the professional in MJ, not the sideshow. That said, not that anyone asked me, not that I'm an expert, I wouldn't have envisioned a lot of growth from MJ in the years to come. At best, even if he just aged quietly, it would look weird on him b/c he was MJ.
