I probably wouldn't care about it as much but I got into "Be Good Johnny Weir" so I wanted to see how he did.

While she kind of lost me talking about "Curb" here I find her very endearing here because of "Woo-hoo! Kick-ass chick! Work it, Vivica!"

that makes sense. I always forget about these things, like the singers can't just sing whatever the hell they want.

you're too good-looking for this.

That makes sense, and no, I don't feel bad about the things I liked when I was younger, like, I dunno, UB40 or whatever. I wish I had told this story more clearly in the entry, about how it was like, January, see Donnie Darko, love it. March, see Donnie Darko again, loved it. May: force a friend of mine to watch

Is this a thing? RHCP jokes? If so I want to learn more.

I dunno, my change of feeling of Donnie Darko was pretty rapid, like it occurred within a year or two.

I truly apologize, Apple. do you come from hipster lineage yourself or you're just friends with some?

I was contemplating calling her Blaylor Swift but, I dunno, I thought that kinda sucked.

if she were still there I would feel favorably towards people with Downs but now I don't.

to be honest it felt kind of low but I feel like I always grade too high so I wanted to bring down the average. I have a hard time picking grades sometimes especially with a show like Idol where there are so many Okay eps and very few really good ones.

was that girl the one with the silver hair?

Claire Danes
is really good in this (i'm just halfway through). I saw the ads for the movie and I was skeptical—she looked like cute Claire Danes in a cowboy shirt. Plus, the last thing I saw her in was "Shopgirl" and that was such a wooden performance. But I'm really impressed so far—she really nails Grandin's

next year's ad should be
for Match.com, urging all the men out there to find women who don't make them go shopping when the "big game" is on, have stupid-ass book clubs, who make Michael C. Hall talk in a monotone, etc.

I guess this version was WAY different than the original play about Grease, which was much less cute and whatnot. So says my Dad.

I have a secret hardcore love for that Valli song.

there was "Hairspray"… but yeah. no.

this was sleepover fodder for me when I was a kid—I think it's a rite of passage for many young girls to watch the movie over the years and be shocked and amused by the jokes and lines that go over your head. If you recited the lyrics of "Greased Lightning" to a kid on a playground you'd get arrested.
