I agree, she isn't afraid to show her literally ugly side. And I actually like that she's thrifty about certain things—shows her down-to-earth Midwestern side. I also find it interesting that she's a teetotaler.

it's OK. I was leaning towards liking you anyway due to your screenname.

unlike the internet!

well, I watched a few hours of "Entourage" on Sunday after running a 5K and then going to a bridal shower and then going to the dog park. Is that OK, Unmutual?

I didn't review There Will Be Blood…

how do we all feel about mini tacos though?

Ha, I don't know but if I were to host my own D-List type AVC show it would be called "No I'm Not Amelie and I'm Pretty Sure She Has a Boyfriend Anyway"

see, while I didn't think the Mexican village thing was funny on the show (since she was obviously half plumbing it for laughs), this is why I like her. When we hear about celebrities being philanthropic, to me they're pretty much doing exactly what Kathy does, only Kathy was being meta about it. She was doing a bit

ha. my husband likes the show OK too. He also likes Bridezillas too. Where my demographic-skewing straights men? woo!

hmm. I dislike Cook (I can't say I know enough about him to say I hate him) and I enjoy Entourage the way I enjoy Sex and the City. I don't, like, THINK about it but it's great for a good couple-hour flop on the couch.

Scott, did you read AO Scott's review of this?
This movie does not like you. Do you still like it?

yall are hating now
Just wait until our follow-up "The Lover: The Ladies of the AV Club Present Mildly Humorous Essays on Fashion, Dieting and Sex."

yay, i'm glad I'm not the only one. "Oliver's Army" makes me want to re-learn piano.

so conflicted
my mother once told me that as a brunette, I must be on Team Veronica (plus Veronica had better clothes and stuff). But being the sap I am, I always like Betty since she's so much nicer. I guess for his wallet Archie is making the right choice but you know he's going to run crying to Betty when Veronica

I'm not contractually obligated not to mention but it seemed d0uchey to be like "Hey quit reading this site and follow me to another one!"

let's not forget that according to Pepsi, Will.i.am is the new Bob Dylan

Poor Scott. I'm sure he hasn't been asked to do a lot of jumping in his life (I imagine he's not a big basketball player).

thanks kerouac!

Stewart was a mentor a few years back though, right? so he's a friend of the show.
