"Some Jew."
Yeah I remember coming to it and being like "ooh an article about andy richter" and then finishing it and thinking "well that wasn't what I hoped it would be"
HITLERRRRR! is my favorite line from ARCTU. My favorite ep was the one with him dating the Irish girl and the receptionist had the deep voice from the medical experiments.
well done! It's almost too tiny to tell what it is though.
Yeah maybe I should have explained further that I am a pretty devoted reader of Elyse's blog, and she would mildly talk about her relationship with Marty, who I had known she had been dating since the show, so it was just a shock. I'm not an Elyse fangirl where I was like OMG smash all Shins records, it was more that…
I guess I should have added that time does heal some wounds. I crawled back to the Shins after awhile…
Well that's the thing—like I said, there are a lot of "bad" guys in music and on my Ipod but for some reason if it happened in the past it doesn't bother me—it's just when I suddenly hear a song and am like "Oh…that guy just did something bad, weird…" and get distracted to the point of not liking the song anymore.
"It's not like I boycott their music: I've enjoyed the songs of many a criminal, some of whom have probably knocked around a few ladies. But when it happens in real time, I'm out."
old face, young neck.
I heard that Alexis had serious self-esteem/doubt/-consciousness issues on the show so I wonder if she was so much mad about being kicked off as she was upset that she didn't represent herself the way she could have—I sensed that she was struggling a bit to find her identity and she didn't have enough time to do so.
I agree in terms of age—I guess it was the rapport on stage—it didn't seem fatherly or faux-romantic but I never know how you're supposed to act during those types of duets. Carrie barely looked at Randy it seemed.
Actually I have no beef with Seacrest. I came around on him at some point over the last year or two. I think he'd be an interesting interview. But his flirtation with Simon on the show doesn't always translate to good TV for me.
no, Alexis is terrifically pale—I think they've even bronzed her up a bit since earlier this season.
how about that water balloon fight he had with Simon? That was way cool.
You know Carrie did sound great. I feel bad for not giving her props more up above. I get depressed or something while writing up the results episodes.
also have to chime in with how freaky the boys turning into donkeys was—didn't they cry for their mamas, too? this is why I was too freaked to watch "Willow" more than once. I was thinking recently about how a lot of my most beloved movies/stories from childhood are actually scary as hell.
instead of idol I wish I had watched this
I just assume it's a derivative of "Lillian" or something. It's not an extremely crazy name to me.
that lion let him do it because he didn't want to end up brain-damaged and faceless.
