TBH, I never understood all the hate directed at The Principal and the The Pauper. I saw it is a smart commentary on how the people we know and love for so long are never who they seem at face value. It even fell back on the classic sitcom trope of everything returning back to the way it was despite such a big change,

Season 9 episode 8, Lisa the Skeptic. Ralph thought he found something in the dig but it was just his own shovel trowel lol.

The way I see it, FG has got only two kinds of viewers. The ones that still find it funny or at least entertaining in some sense, and those who watch out of obligation because of their fond memories of the earlier seasons. Consequently, the most vocal bunch falls in the latter category. The same goes for the viewers

American dad has always been extremely underrated. Its consistently the funniest of the Seth MacFarlane triad yet its the only one which constantly has less than 20 episodes per season.

Well to be fair, Lucifer only possessed Sam and it took the power of brotherly love and awesome cars to overcome that lol. Plus remember how hard it was for Bobby to overcome stunt demon #2 to cripple himself? I'm assuming that spectre was probably just as strong.
