Agreed. That slayed me every time. Reminded me of D-grade dance movies.

I think it's because I've always had the vague feeling that she deserves better.
American Horror Story is amazing please step off.
Next week's episode is an LSP episode (though I agree there should be more of her, I believe that Pen Ward doesn't like doing the voice all that much, or something?)
"Overall this episode felt juvenile to me. "
I loved her flat, knowing, "Can I do it from here?"
@Big_Knife:disqus If Joan lands Avon in the finale it'll immediately become my favourite finale the show's done.
Really? I find Madrigal too laconic and his delivery really stilted, whereas I think Williams provides the show with a much-needed youthful energy and a much more fascinating niche voice. But eh, each to their own, I guess.
Thirded, as I said above. She has crack timing, I hope she's around for a while. It kinda feels like it's a halfway house these days, they're not sticking around as long. I'm so glad Al Madrigal got a pilot picked up so we can see the back of him. He's never gelled with the show.
Williams is the funniest new correspondent in years, if you ask me (probably since Wyatt Cenac, anyway). She certifiably outshines Al Madrigal, who just doesn't have the timing for a show like this. Remember when Josh Gad was one for a while? God, that sucked.
@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus Yeah I don't remember exactly what I did, I think maybe 3 times slower and maybe raised the pitch or something. I was basically just fucking around.
I can never guess which trailers you'll like or dislike, AV Club, but I shouldn't be surprised that you hate the one set in the 90s about female sexuality.
I think there should be a way to make eye-rolling audible to replace the gaucheness of booing.
Oh, I came here expecting this to be the sequel to 2003's Honey.
Sadly I don't think comic book fanboys love beautiful disasters.
I'm still reservedly excited for it because neither ST:ID or IM3 really did it for me, though I enjoyed both. I like me some insane, bloated spectacle now and again, and this seems like it will really deliver. What I'm trying to say is, I just want to stare at Henry Cavill for two and a half hours.
I remember when that hit and I downloaded the a program that could do it and toyed with it. I particularly loved what happened when I slowed down 'Everything In Its Right Place': https://soundcloud.com/perf…
You mean Star Trek: Into Darkness wasn't the prequel to Untitled Star Trek 3 Project???
I'm very tired of back story being substituted for character development.
@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus She also just generally is a shitty politician, so I can't imagine she notices the weight that much.
