So, uh…you single?

Yeah, I'm sorry, but the Schmidt/Winston/homeless man plot was pretty goddamn exploitative, and the Jess/Nick storyline was funny until they tried to make it serious.

Glad someone said it. Shows like this will often get a pass for stuff like that because they're "good", whereas if a CBS show did it I imagine there'd be a lot more ire.

Goodness. People even fawn over this show when it's glaringly mediocre. The entire Schmidt/Winston storyline was essentially dead air.

Oh yeah, these are fantastic, I've been following for a while. The one about the birds attacking only baseball stadiums was glorious.

That's the true true.

I'd love an Adventure Time episode done by Don Hertzfeldt. If ever anyone could properly handle the emotional weight of the Ice King/Marceline relationship…

Seriously. He was the worst part of the telenovelas. I was embarrassed for him.

Makes sense. If you're an asshole says something insipid and only other assholes hear it, was it ever really said?

Hey, I live in Australia, I genuinely wouldn't know. Thus why I asked people to explain.

Why not just download it, though? I'd rather be up-to-date with something zeitgeisty like GoT than wait until DVDs come out.

I guess it just depends on who you know?

@Scrawler2:disqus Consensus seems to be that it's the fact that it's on HBO. Which makes sense to a point; you have to wonder exactly how many people torrent it. I guess once you're wading into the older segment of 18-49 people might not quite be torrent-savvy.

It's so weird to me that twice as many people watch TWD as GoT when the cultural penetration of the latter is so much greater. I guess slow-burning fantasy isn't as appealing as fairly rote, inconsistent zombie stuff? I stopped watched TWD ages ago so if someone could explain this I would be very interested.

He had a family and relatives and friends who'll be grief-stricken over this, but this is the internet so we can be classist, elitist assholes about he and his brother's accidental death, right? RIGHT?!

I don't really know if that's true. Roxxxy is bitchy enough to serve as the villain and Alyssa has been treated very sympathetically by the show in recent weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if we finally see the merciful end of Coco Montrese crazying up our RPDR.

Between Adventure Time, Drag Race and Top of the Lake they're kinda amazing at the moment, really.

@avclub-fd49932f918497f20b2931ddc110bcbe:disqus That just makes you vastly underqualified to make such a decision. Renly 4eva.

He's Robert Pattinsnape.

Oh it's totally par for the course in terms of her, uh, 'oeuvre', but relative to common sense it's bizarrrrrrrrrre.
