"For the cameras"? Based on what evidence?

@avclub-4262be1edc1bde7c8514d96235a29c16:disqus Obviously Alaska's looks aren't as polished as Sharon's, but I think this is the impact of Sharon's win all over again. Rose-tinted glasses might make it seem as though Sharon didn't do the same thing - variations on her glorious Halloween shtick - most weeks, while

I don't think Alaska is shallow enough to manufacture a reason to do that, though.

It's not off-limits, but it is still gross to wade through comments about how terrible she is for getting cosmetic surgery done, as though it affects any of us a modicum (it doesn't). Sure, it's sometimes a bit jarring out of drag, but you can't say it doesn't help how she looks in drag - and while Detox's is

I don't think it's as been as good this as last season, where it was the strongest it's ever been. While there've been a lot of great moments, too much time has been spent on Coco/Alyssa, particularly tonight. It feels like they're using that to pad the episodes rather than prompt more interesting discussions (usually

Yeah I don't feel any animosity from Detox or (especially) Alaska, and even with the former it's just the usual quippy talking head bitchiness. But the editing is sure as hell trying to play it up - I think the way the Coco-Detox feud played out is a good example. Detox did exactly what any of them would've done.

We get it. You don't like Detox. But no need to throw shade when there ain't no cover, girl.

And I'm sorry, but how do you show vulnerability on the runway or in a challenge when you've never been threatened by being in the bottom?

Christ, I hope Roxxxy doesn't win. Her bullshit attitude towards any queen that doesn't fit her selected image is becoming disgusting.

I think it's a bit narrow to say doing that is less valid than being boring old flawless fish. There are plenty of queens out there who can drown in paint and come out looking perfect, but are flat as a fucking tack. I know which I'd prefer, and which is vastly more interesting.

The crazy weird episodes tend to divide most people - I was very surprised Oliver liked this one, but I guess its "point" was more overt. That said, I pretty much love all of them.

"Not now, I'm…too drunk."

@avclub-c156902f5b20b572848be18c11634dfb:disqus You can basically knock the whole show over in a well-planned day.

"At the risk of editorializing, these women are guilty and must be dealt with in a harsh and brutal fashion. Otherwise, their behaviour could incite other women leading to anarchy of biblical proportions. IT'S IN REVELATIONS, PEOPLE!"

@avclub-cfe912f5cb3aa572bd1c9ae2a9b82207:disqus This comment is crying out for your Rubber Man avatar.

Ugh, those things are terrible.

@avclub-a7073ce95eb97256fe5401f0a585da85:disqus If you don't view drag as an art form I'm not sure what you're doing here.

It just proves my theory that Sutton Foster is the anti-Katharine McPhee.

Yeah this Untucked was a major dud. So much time spent on Jade/Alyssa/Coco, too little perhaps getting the queens to explore their bizarre aversion to Jinkx's style. I feel as though Alaska and Detox would've jumped to her defence as queens who are often very camp and funny. But it's very possible/probable that Jinkx

IVY WINTERRRRRRRRRRRRRS never ceases to make me laugh, so whatever.
