@avclub-adb4c903674d579c1a43dbf3ae93f077:disqus You mean the Date Night that tripled its budget? The Baby Mama that doubled its budget? That Crazy, Stupid, Love. tripled its budget? And all three were at least reviewed averagely? And the fact that her hosting the Golden Globes with Poehler led to its highest ratings

Pilot Viruet is black, and a few contributors are gay, so there's that?

I teared up a little, I gotta say. Coming right off that last moment in the diner…wow.

Agreed. For me this was definitely the best episode the show has done [where its previous best have been a bit messy but usually elevated by something like Istanbul (Not Constantinople)].

The chair dragging reminded me of Tig Notaro's stool bit on Conan.

Yup, because a male wearing makeup = gay. Desperately calling and texting his girlfriend just so she'll pay attention to him = gay. C'mon dude, seriously.

Yeah I never understand why I come here and find people going "C+! Some good lines but not funny enough/not deep enough/etc. etc.!" This week and last week are the show's vital DNA.

This is gonna sound really weird, but a muscly Donut Man pushes several of my buttons.

Fun Size didn't work for ANYONE.

Yes, but over Louis CK for New Year's Eve? I don't think so.

There's so, so much thematic and character richness in this show it's unbelievable. I'm just so happy it exists, but so confused as to why no one watches it. This corporate espionage plot is giving me the same thrills Mad Men did when SCDP went after Jaguar. I like that comparison of the two shows, if only because

Yes. Very easily.

I think that was a nice character beat. I get this feeling that Amy's going to get this information, Jeff is going to turn it into a story, it'll have no impact and Amy's going to get in deep shit and potentially have another breakdown (alternatively, Jeff won't even bother with the story). I don't know if that'll all

@avclub-b5a8e57188f396243f8f41ded04cb8c2:disqus Totally understandable, I figured that would be the case. Look forward to whenever you're able to factor it in!

Hm. Aside from the obvious of lower viewers/demo, why are no popular-on-AVC cable shows getting in here? (I realise it's possible that you only count the major nets, but given the popularity of The Walking Dead, say, that seems silly).

Don't forget Bob's Burgers, now, too.

Um duh, I googled it and it's from The Big Bang Theory, so like, shut up!

@inko8:disqus Well now I'm dying for Archerican Horror Story: Asylum.

I don't think you can go past Lo Scandalo for sheer volume of jokes.

I still laughed hysterically all the way through the credits, though.
