Saw the trailer for this in the theater a while back and thought it looked like it might be a fun kids' movie. Nice to see it get a get a good review. And as I said in another thread yesterday, Waititi did do a few neat semi-action scenes in WWDitS, such as the one where they're chasing the guy through the house.

Or at least check the house for other fire hazards.

As hilarious as WWDitS is, I noticed how well done the action is in the scene where the vampires are chasing the guy through the house. There's also a shorter scene where two of the vampires engage in fisticuffs on the ceiling that was somewhat jolting. Pretty impressive stuff for the budget the film was on.

So, ageism? In 2016? Really??

The album they did with Sparks is all kinds of brilliant.

What would God want with an emoticon…?

And his lawn. So I guess it can be two things.
Too soon?

UNFAVORABLE OPINION OF REPUBLICANS.

He's Eddie Brock. He follows Spider-Man in public while wearing the black alien symbiote costume just to embarrass him.

That's a pretty impressive rundown of a typical issue, but you forgot "Jeffrey Toobin confuses his opinions with legal analysis" and "John McPhee tells us everything we ever needed to know about driving a coal train in a mere 60,000 words."

I think they write the articles, too, if I'm not mistaken.

Somebody already parodies the AV Club every day: the AV Club.

When I saw Ed O'Neill in the cast, I immediately got my hopes up for a hilarious/whoop-inducing scene where he flushes Dory down the toilet, but I guess he's an octopus in this.

Is DongLove his official TMZ headline portmanteau? If not, it really should be.

Ninja guru, is it you?

Resident Problematic

I'm on my mobile, talkin' to the president/I'm gonna hit him for the money I spent/Tried to get him to party with me/I even offered him ecstacy!

And…?

I don't think it's necessarily wrong to apply contemporary values to decades-old works of art, so long as (a) one's judgment on the work as a whole considers the contemporary social context and (b) one gets the facts right. This article is yet another instance where the AV Club fails on both fronts. As you may

I have no problem with the website's content skewing liberal, but the writers' politics have been driving not just their analysis but their presentation of basic facts. I thought Teti's ascension to editorship would have put a stop to this nonsense, but it seems to only have gotten worse.
