That's not surprising from his work in Nomo. He's the (ostensible?) bandleader and the focal point of most of their songs, just shredding melodies on the bari sax. It is nice to hear a competent, non-ironic saxophone in modern music.

The opening sequence when 21 gets the call that the Monarch is back in business and suits up while he and 24 do an acapella version of "Mars, God of War" is just head-explodingly awesome, up to and including 21's dog jumping in the car.
