I don't really get the logistics. How big would the sink have to be?

Arlen as an environment does seem much more in line with suburban Dallas, but the nearest big (fictional) town McManorsbury is pretty obviously an Austin stand-in.

I thought the movie was pretty legitimately great, and in line with the original "good" seasons. Spongebob & Patrick's ice cream hangover, all the scenes at the biker bar, the nonsensical 70's drug-sploitation ending montage ("Look everyone, it's the wizard who saved us!").

I can understand that a little. I love DBT but if you've never heard them and don't listen too closely on first listen, they can sometimes sound a lot like modern Nashville country, which everyone knows is the absolute worst music ever made.

Albert Brooks "The Muse" was unquestionably one of his lesser works

Sounds like you have it all figured out, @avclub-6ae208ea4fad6f3a25ff3592f2ff50d0:disqus and @avclub-f121d09285898f1c66d66f1e6f0455a6:disqus . Kudos. Someone should let those kids in the audience know that they aren't really enjoying themselves.

That's just, pretty much what his voice sounds like, live and often on record. He's definitely eccentric, but I don't think it reads like him not giving a shit. He's just following a muse, weird and atonal as it can often be.

Saw him live a few years ago, and it was a good show but he was dressed like he couldn't decide whether he wanted to be Kurt Cobain or Courtney Love so he went with a little of both.

@jerodast:disqus plus the steering wheel and seat covering makes me think he's driving a trans-am, still obviously the absolute pinnacle of high-school cool. TV and movies have taught me that tastes in this area have been unwavering since 1982.
