As a former print journalist and page designer, I can't stand when newspaper front pages feature a three-column wide studio photo of the person who disappeared, is murdered, etc. That doesn't happen. Have these people never seen a newspaper.

Not sure that anyone will read this, but for those suggesting other reading … I do teach Animal Farm and have taught Harrison Bergeron (which I love) … I'll have to check out Disposessed and the LeGuin stuff (all I've read is Earthsea).
