Yeah, agreed, TWOK is the other option besides those other two. The whales one might be popular among non-fans, but it's probably best to be a little familiar with those characters before seeing them as fish out of the water.

Hmm, I remember everyone bagging on her while discussing that scene before here.
I really wish Valeris was Saavik in TUC, would have added more gravity to the story by having such an important recurring character be involved that way…
While I prefer TOS, I see both shows as great and catering to different moods.
DS9's popularity seems to me to be mainly an internet thing. I believe I have yet to meet anyone in person who likes the show more than the other treks or at least thinks it's ok.
"Anyways, years ago I had been looking forward to a TNG movie that would help bring in new people to the Star Trek universe:"

"Speak for yourself, sir. I plan to live forever."
Look! My overcomplicated alien name coincidentally sounds exactly like a normal human name!
Four seasons and maybe some reunions is good enough there.
Even buying them shows how great your dedication to trek is D. I'm a huge trek fan, and I only own 7 of the 11 films (only one TNG).
Man D, that's like a murderers' row of trek's greatest movies. It really shows how bad Nemesis can be.
Sorry, First Contact is the best TNG movie. In fact, it's the only good one.
Oh man, is December Japan month?
I like muting the TV during that part.
Oh man, nice reference to The Room.
I read that in college Tuck, it was a good one I remember. Unfortunately, I don't remember much about it, just my opinion of it.
I think this will be the only comment I will ever make for the DS9 boards. I'm just gonna pop in every once in a while only saying this line.
When most of the movies your best-of list mentions are ones most people have never heard of, or just saw the trailer for on some weird netflix disc, it's been a bad year for film. FAIL.
