I hold Babylon 5 and Farscape at the same level as trek.  Stargate is an incredibly average show.  Lexx started with a unique premise, but ruined it with random, incoherent plots and an over-reliance on T&A.

Lol, Lexx well written and acted?  The few people that tuned in just did so to stare at Xev's breasts.

Definitely.  Edgley's movements while in character really gave Chiana an "alien" feel.  Great stuff!

Yep, tis a shame she had to leave.  Her character added a lot to the show, even from the background.

That's all it basically was - lowest common denominator trash.  The lack of a coherent plot didn't help its reputation as T&A sleaze.

The first season had some bright spots and showed some potential.  Robert Hewitt Wolfe's departure seemed to coincide with the show becoming irredeemable.

The props look fake enough on my upscaled dvd player and blown up for my large widescreen tv.  I would hate what blu-ray would do for the realism for me.  The pulse pistols are a major example of this.

S1 is underrated.  As soon as Chiana debuts the quality sharply rises….along with other…things…

Bingo, the non-humanoid aliens were a breath of fresh air for the genre.
