Interesting there Rich.
Lol, I was thinking that during the entire sequence!
It's always good to see some Local H love.
I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but I don't see total uniformity among critics all the time. There's usually one or two dissenting opinions. Still, the hive mind is annoying at times.
Heh, when I read the paragraph in the review I thought "Rizzoli is to Isles as Xena was to Gabriel?"
I find Myka's collagen lips distractingly disturbing.
If you didn't really know if Myka was coming back, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
The episode wasn't that good. Everything seems rote. After that stupid H.G. Wells storyline where Myka was duped by an obvious villain, I'm done faithfully watching the show. If I catch it, I catch it. I'm sick of Pete's constant, dumb jokes too.
There's things that get even less comments that continue to get reviewed, Adult Swim shows for one. This show got almost 200 comments last week, so that's decent. It's no Community or Trek number, but it's passable if there's enough clicks I suppose.
Looks like a painting, but I am unable to identify it.
Best part of the episode.
@Batmandu: I think DS9 already holds up better than TNG, because its storytelling methods have become popular as of late (although, I would rather give more credit to Twin Peaks & B5 for that), and because of the greyness of politics the past ten years or so. I've noticed lately from watching bits and pieces of old…
Rich, I prefer the large vocabulary that English provides. It may not have an Academy regulating it like French, but French has a very small amount of words compared to English, limiting the variety of the ways to say something, and thereby limiting its literature. Or at least that what my French Existentialism…
Yeah, the US prosecuting for waterboarding after WW2 sort of kills any apologist argument, but I still feel lumping together what the US did to a handful of terrorists with what Stalinist Russia & Maoist China did to regular citizens when it was widespread there and lasted much longer, to be unfair.
Ugh, that Russel Brand-voiced thing?
Yeah, it just has a wicked buzz and tastes better than most alcoholic drinks that are respectable for a man to have. I might buy a fountain so that I can properly due the whole preparation process.
Nimoy also voiced a character in the original cartoon film as well, Galvatron.
Aw, what about wine & absinthe?
Yeah, the regionalism is very prominent, and the national identity is comparatively weak, especially with an emergent European identity competing with it. The Lega Nord complicates matters even further, but it looks like they're going through another bout of lower popularity, as they fared badly in the recent…
